Invincible Summer
It's the middle of winter, but many flowers are blooming.
It makes me think of the quote by Albert Camus:
βIn the midst of winter, I found there was, within me, an invincible summer."
This post is a collection of pictures of the blooms emerging from the Courtyard today β as if awakened from their beauty rest by the chill of the winter air.
Bee's Bliss Sage
Lemon Tree
Camellia
Edward wants his picture taken with the flowers
Lavender
Rosemary
African Daisy
Hibiscus
Daffodil (these grew themselves)
Lantana (also grew themselves)
Even the little Olive Tree is beginning to bud
It may be winter, but for these plants, it's an invincible summer.
It's a good thing I'm wearing my feather coat.
